The Cars first drove off the lot in 1976. They were post-punk, hard rock, new wave, and quirky pop. They released their self-titled debut album in 1978. A follow up to that successful first album was released in 1979, (and called 'Candy-O'). Their fourth studio album came out in 1981, and this time it was named 'Shake It Up'. Today we take a look back at those three particular Cars albums in this rockin' good deal!

The Cars released a picture disc 12" maxi-single in 1982, for the song "Since You're Gone", from 'Shake it Up'. They also added "My Best Friend's Girlfriend" from the first album, and "Let's Go", from 'Candy-O'. Three great tracks from three awesome albums! The vinyl itself has a few light surface marks on it, but nothing too bad. No heavy scratches, gouges, or scuffs. This comes in a plain generic PVC jacket.

And speaking of the first album, you'll get a copy of it on CD. This is maybe their best effort, and a few songs standout. Sure, "Let The Good Times Roll" and "Just What I Needed" are great tracks, but radio beat them to death (and classic rock radio is still doing that)! I always loved "Moving in Stereo", which flowed seamlessly into "All Mixed Up". And I really like "Bye Bye Love", as well. Disc looks great, and is shiny and clean. Case looks new.

We'll end with a special copy of 'Candy-O', and the remastered edition with extra tracks! And the best part? This bad boy is STILL SEALED and NEVER OPENED or PLAYED! The Cars made great music on their sophomore release, and it's here remastered and sounding oh so good. They even add a couple of unreleased tracks, along with different versions of songs from the original album!

(RIP Ben Orr and Ric Ocasek. You two were the voice of The Cars, and both of you were extremely talented. Thanks for the legacy of great music. You are both missed!)
