My Vinyl Grade System
Exc - Very little to no visible wear.  VG+ - Mild surface wear to vinyl that should have no significant impact to play. Mild general wear to cover but no splits, tears, ring or other significant damage. VG - Moderate surface wear that could create occasional, non overpowering background noise. Still very functional record. Cover will have significant flaws but still very functional. Small split or tear may be present, Mild ring or writing. Nothing that should need significant repair.  VG- - Significant wear but much of the record is still functional. May have a skip or two or significant background noise for multiple tracks but much of the record should play without major issue. Cover will have full split or tear or heavy ring or other significant damage. Should still function as a cover but major issues. G+ - Worse G - Find an art project for it.
