THE DAMNED - 'STRAWBERRIES' on BLACK VINYL.
Originally released in 1982 'Strawberries' is The Damned's 5th Studio Album. Its release coincided with Solo success enjoyed by band member Captain Sensible, bringing extra exposure. He's also credited with introducing new instruments to the band such as Sitar & Cello.
A working title of 'Strawberries to Pigs' - a reference to new songs not being accepted by some old fans, explains the title & cover art.
It was well received on release and reached 15 in the UK Album chart.
