ELVIS PRESLEY – FOR LP FANS ONLY (LPM-1990) THIRD PRESSING with MEGA RARE COVER ERROR VARIETY!

RECORD: VG- with numerous light scuffs and scratches, none of which can be felt with the fingertip. This Indianapolis pressing has been fully test-played to ensure no skips or repeats and the result was just some general surface noise and random “ticks”. These are more evident in softer areas of the music. The labels show some wear about the spindle hole along with light spindle marks. The original owner wrote their name in blackball-point pen, ever so cleverly in the white “RCA Victor” letters on Side 2.

COVER: VG++ (EXC) with no dreaded seam splits, unsightly tape or tape residue or pesky staple holes to the upper left corner! However, there are a couple of very trivial stress marks on the edges. Some minor fading along the open-end edge on the front along with a random scratch approximately four inches above the end of the fading (please see all photos). This is the MEGA-RARE cover variety that is described in “Presleyana VIII” on Page 133, Cover 2B. The is no RCA Victor logo anywhere on this cover, nor Catalog Number on the back nor the front; on the spine only! This cover is far less encountered in the wild than the cover showing the same photo on both sides. The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40B) inner sleeve is included. Please note: every effort was made to exhibit this item in the best way possible, so some photos were taken with the flash on and some with the flash off.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.
