On October 24th, 1978, legendary Canadian rock band Rush released their sixth studio album. The named it 'Hemispheres', and the album cover's artwork was designed by longtime collaborater Hugh Syme. The album also came out as a picture disc in '78. The picture disc has the same pic on both sides, with a small side 1 and side 2 notation. No song titles or credits, as that was on the back of the die-cut sleeve that this originally came in. The actual album is one long song on the A side (broken up in into parts I-VI). The flip side (B side) is a couple of awesome Rush songs that received rock radio airplay: "The Trees" and "Circumstances", plus "La Villa Stangiato", which is parts I-XII!

Now many Rush fans already have this one in their collection. And since this has no sleeve, it's the perfect Rush picture disc to frame and proudly display! It's also a good one to grab, if you're new to the Rush picture disc collecting world. It is was reissued for the 40th anniversary, with a slightly different die-cut sleeve and picture disc itself. But only a little bit different...

The vinyl itself has many light surface marks (or light scratches, in this case), on both sides. Only noticeable when held up close. You wouldn't see them at all if this were framed! No deep or heavy scratches, gouges, or scuffs. The colors are still nice and bright. This will come in a generic clear PVC jacket.

And I'll even add a bonus Rush on-the-cover rock magazine! Which one, you ask? Well, I'll let YOU decide, as I have several. Once you make payment, I'll take pics and let you pick out one before I ship. There's old AND new(er) to choose from!

Rush called it quits after the R40 worldwide tour. Just a few years later, drummer Neil Peart was gone. I'm not saying that we won't see Geddy and Alex do a one-time performance with a great drummer, or even something for charity, but the Rush as we knew, and the decades of touring, are no longer. I'm just glad I got to see them many, many times through the years!

(RIP Neil "the Professor" Peart. You were a quiet man who was a beast on the drums. You wrote lyrics that will be admired and studied for decades to come. You stepped in for the very first Rush tour, then helped the band become one of the greatest of all time. You are missed!)

Shipping worldwide. Ebay has enrolled me in their international shipping program and handles all fees, paperwork, and we are both covered if anything happens in transit. And I pack well, using cardboard mailers and/or bubble wrap and padded mailers. So your item should get to you, wherever you are, in good shape!

Please know that I don't make money on shipping. In fact sellers usually lose money on shipping, as eBay keeps a portion. Expedited shipping is available to anyone who wants it. USPS's Ground Advantage is close to Priority Mail with delivery, adds $100 of insurance, and is less than Priority. If you NEED it a little faster, just choose and pay for that option when checking out.

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Ask me about combined shipping when you make multiple purchases.  If there are any problems once you receive your item(s), please give me a chance to make it right. MOST problems are easily resolved... Immediate payment if I accept your best offer, please. Also, if you try to make a seriously low-ball offer, it will automatically decline it. (REASONABLE offers usually get automatically accepted.) Thanks for stopping by. Take care, and have a good day!
