NATHAN MILSTEIN "Bach Partitas And Sonatas (For Unaccompanied Violin)"
PCR 8370 3xLP Box CAPITOL US Original Mono D1 Scranton Pressing
***MONO***
Vinyl: Overall, condition is a very strong EX pushing NM overall across all sides, most sides appear unplayed, no visible markings on playing surfaces, nice luster on the vinyl, only a couple sides even have spindle markings on the center labels, please see photos.
Most sellers would probably grade this NM, but considering the value of this I am grading conservatively here. One side, noted below, has a couple very light marks on tracks 1 and 2, but I play-tested these tracks on my system and was not able to hear the marks (using a vintage but excellent condition Shure V15, not a high-end system but still worth mentioning).
Full run-out groove info and condition notes for each side below:
Side 1 - EX+ close to NM vinyl, no spindle wear to center label - P1-8370-D1 ⌂ (⌂ = Scranton "anvil/lathe" symbol) Side 2 - EX condition, a couple extremely light marks, only noticeable upon very close inspection - P2-8370-D1 ⌂ Side 3 - EX+ close to NM vinyl, nice center label - P3-8370-D1 ⌂ Side 4 - EX condition, one light spindle mark on center label - P4-8370 D1 ⌂ Side 5 - EX condition, 2 very light marks on areas of track 1 and track 2, please see photo, one spindle mark on center label - P5-8370-D1 " 2 ⌂
Side 6 - EX+ close to NM, no spindle wear, light label wear/disintegration, no signs of anything happening to this so I am concluding it was like this from the factory - P6-8370-D1 ⌂
Sleeve/box: Box is in Excellent condition overall, one small bit of corner wear/paper peeling on the upper right corner, no splits along the sides of box, no dings, minimal shelf wear, nice readable spine. Please see my detailed close-up photos for a close look.
Insert: Insert/booklet graded VG+ due to some light discoloration and very light bending which you can see clearly in the provided photos.
Additional Description: This was reportedly purchased by the previous owner from the estate of an employee of Capitol Records who worked there in the mid-late 1950s to the early 1960s. It has been stored vertically indoors by both previous owners and I have kept it on my shelf at home for a couple years.
Will be packed with extreme care, double-boxed and insured (assuming that is possible for your location).

I am a record collector and semi-frequent eBay seller selling off some pieces of my collection in an effort to downsize and make a bit of extra money. Please check my 100% positive feedback with over 900 confirmed sales on this platform.
I have worked in the record business and am I strict, conservative grader. I will highlight any issue or notable aspects of each LP or 45 I'm selling in the descriptions above. I'm looking forward to sending some choice records to new homes.
On some higher-end LPs I've opted for USPS Priority Mail over Media Mail.
All records securely packed in sturdy cardboard mailers with LP outside jacket in a plastic outer sleeve, higher-value LPs will have more elaborate and more protective packaging.
Please contact me if ever there is an issue with your purchase and I will correct it to your satisfaction.
Please note that liability for loss or nondelivery of any order that either shows that the item has been delivered or that has left the U.S. border is solely with the buyer.
Thank you!
