ELVIS PRESLEYA DATE WITH ELVIS (LSP-2011) LOT OF FOUR DIFFERENT ALBUMS!

A DATE WITH ELVIS (LSP-2011)

RECORD: VG+ with beautiful glossy surfaces! There are just some very light scuffs seen on both sides that should not have much, if any, effect on the audible performance. This Hollywood pressing should play great! The “White Top” labels are without any writing or stickers but show some light spindle marks on both sides. This is the first STEREO pressing on this title, pressed from late 1964 through late 1968. The matrix numbers end with 2S/2S.

COVER: VG- with moisture damage to the lower 1/3 of the cover. Full original shrink wrap remains fully intact despite this damage beneath the shrink wrap. This area is rippled and rough to the touch but there is no foul odor present. This damage is concentrated mainly to the open-end, going in approximately half-way. There are no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes anywhere on this cover. The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40C) inner sleeve is included and it shares the same texture as the cover. The original owner had hand-written “A Date with Elvis” at the upper edge of the sleeve.

ELVIS PRESLEYELVIS’ GOLDEN RECORDS (LPM-1707) FIRST PRESSING

RECORD: GOOD with numerous light scratches and scuffs, with one scratch on “Heartbreak Hotel” being deeper and feelable. This track will have skips and or repeats! The remainder of the record will likely play with many “ticks” and general surface noise at the very least. The labels on this Rockaway pressing are very clean and attractive with just a few light spindle marks on both sides.

COVER: GOOD second design cover with the title on the front now in white lettering instead of light blue. The lower edge being the only item holding the cover together, it is fully split on the upper edge as well as the spine. A “GG” is written on the front and there is some light staining on the back side. A plain white inner sleeve is included.

ELVIS PRESLEYHOW GREAT THOU ART (LSP-3758) ORANGE LABEL

RECORD: VG+ with clean, glossy surfaces! The labels on this Indianapolis pressing are beautiful, NM. This album was test-played in its entirety and resulted in clear, original high fidelity with no skips or repeats! There was some minor, yet spotted surface noise heard in a few areas, however, but nothing that overrides the listing enjoyment. It is no wonder that Elvis won a Grammy Award for this beautiful Gospel album!

COVER: VG++ (EXC) with no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes. Some very light ring wear is seen on both sides. The original “ELVIS’ Cassette Tape Catalog” (56A) inner sleeve is included.

ELVIS (DPL2-0056) EXCLUSIVE MAIL ORDER ALBUM THROUGH BROOKVILLE RECORDSSECOND PRESSING

RECORDS: NM with beautiful, glossy surfaces! The records may have been played a time or two and then tucked away. The blue RCA Special Products labels are beautiful, NM! When this album was first released in August of 1973, the labels were mustard-colored. For several years, a television ad (commercial) for this album began airing with the announcer’s voice bellowing out, “ELVIS” several times throughout the ad, instructing the viewers to send their self-addressed stamped envelope and a check filled out to “Hound Dog” to receive this album. I recall the ad vividly and it aired through 1976. All of these are Indianapolis pressings.

COVER: VG+ thin-stock material with moderate ring wear on both sides as well as several bend marks due to how thin the cover stock is. In many instances, this album is seen with just the records because the covers did not stand up to the frequent handing and they became torn to the point of uselessness! This cover remains clean and attractive, without any tears, tape or writing. The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (54C) inner sleeves are included, though they have edge splitting.

GOOD LUCK!

First and foremost, I do NOT practice the use of "file photos" because I do not believe in it. Using file photos can be misleading to unsuspecting buyers to believe that they will receive an item superior to that which they will receive upon purchase. All of the records in my listings are U.S. pressings unless otherwise stated. Payment is expected within 5 (Five) days from close of auction via PAY PAL ONLY – NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE. I normally ship within 3 (Three) business days from close of auction, but please allow a little extra time in the event of a holiday.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.

Returns are accepted if you are not completely satisfied with your item. I stand behind everything sold here on eBay! I strongly believe that my grading of records is spot-on, but we’re all human and something may occasionally be missed upon inspection. I will do my best to ensure customer satisfaction.

2024 marks 47 years of experience for me in this wonderful hobby. I specialize in Elvis Presley because he is "The King".
