The Story and Song of
THE HAUNTED MANSION

The Haunted Mansion opened in New Orleans Square at Disneyland on August 9, 1969.  This album was released to celebrate the opening.

The story is narrated by Thurl Ravenscroft.  Featured voices:  Pete Renoudet, Ron Howard, Robie Lester and Eleanor Audley.  The scenes and original sound effects from the ride are represented as is the song "Grim Grinning Ghosts".  Some of the original concepts that did not permanently end up in the attraction, like the talking Raven and the Hatbox Ghost, are also part of the story.  Illustrations by Collin Campbell.


Clean.  There are a few light scratches.  No skips.   If using the Goldmine Grading System, this LP would be VG+.  The gate fold cover has light wear.  The book is intact and in very good condition.  There is a paper inner sleeve.  Disneyland Records 3947 STEREO
