DOMESTIC U.S. BUYERS
PAYMENT - U.S. buyers to pay by PAYPAL.
FREE MEDIA MAIL SHIPPING IN US - Media Mail shipping is free for U.S. Buyers. Delivery time for Media Mail is usually pretty prompt but occasionally it can take several weeks to reach the west coast. In late-November and December Media Mail can be very slow because it is treated as 4th class mail and so many other packages take priority over it.
PRIORITY MAIL IN US - UPGRADE TO PRIORITY MAIL: Rates differ by zipcode/zone so if you would like to upgrade to priority mail, please send me an invoice-request after you purchase the item requesting priority mail – I am on the east coast so prices get higher going west.
SHIPPING & HANDLING – Your item will be shipped with a tracking number in a good-quality cardboard LP mailer box with a cardboard insert. Special packaging requests can sometimes be accommodated at an additional charge for added materials and added postage. If you have specific packaging requests (protected corners, double boxing, etc), contact me with these special requests BEFORE paying.
MULTIPLE PURCHASES – Free media mail shipping applies to all the items in your order but please pay for multiple items in one payment or wait for my combined invoice.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS – General Information
PAYMENT - Payments are to be made by PAYPAL.
SHIPPING & HANDLING - INTERNATIONAL -
PLEASE READ: If your package weighs less than 4 pounds and your total purchase (single item or multiple items) costs less than $75, then you will have a choice between First Class International (not insured, customs # only) and Priority Mail International (tracking # included, insurance additional). For packages weighing over 4 pounds (usually 5 or 6 single lps) and valued under $75 you will have a choice between Priority Mail International and Express Mail International. This is because First Class is not possible above 4 pounds as it is usually intended for envelopes and small lightweight packets.
ALSO NOTE: If your single item or total purchase is over $75 then shipping MUST be by PRIORITY MAIL (Insured) for your protection as well as mine. Purchases valued at over $200 must ship by EXPRESS MAIL (Insured & Tracked). I do not ship expensive packages without insurance & tracking.
SINGLE LP
First Class International $19 or Priority Mail International $42.
TWO SINGLE LPS OR FOR A 2LP GATEFOLD SET (not including box sets)
First Class International $24 or Priority Mail International $45.
THREE LPS (not including box sets)
First Class International $28 or Priority Mail International $47.
FOUR LPS (not including box sets)
First Class International $32 or Priority Mail International $51.
If your order includes BOX SETS or purchases of more than 4 single lps, costs will need to be determined after you make the purchases because it will be based on the exact weight of the items.
SHIPPING & HANDLING FOR CANADA
BUYERS IN CANADA – your rates are different from other overseas rates.
Single LP: First Class International $12 or Priority Mail International $31
Two single lps or one 2LP gatefold set: First Class International $16 or Priority Mail International $33.
Three single lps: First Class International $19 or Priority Mail International $34.
Four single lps: First Class International $22 or Priority Mail International $35.
If your order includes BOX SETS or purchases of more than 4 single lps, costs will need to be determined after you make the purchases because it will be based on the exact weight of the items.
All International Buyers – Please Note:
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
Please do not ask me to alter values on customs forms – this is a violation of ebay rules and federal law. TRUE VALUE must be stated on all expensive priority mail and express mail packages for insurance reasons.
ARRIVAL TIME - Airmail packages often take 7-10 days to arrive in most countries, but several weeks is not unusual. Delivery is often slowed down by your country’s customs office. Buyers in ITALY should note that the Italian postal and customs system is very slow and all packages can often take several weeks or up to 2 months to arrive.
GRADING :
NM (+/-), E (+/-), VG (+/-)
Lps are visually graded and sometimes marks are very quickly sound-tested. I try to check significant visible marks to see if they make noise, and significant scuffs or scratches are usually mentioned in the description. Lps have NOT been listened to in their entirety, so it is very possible that there will be noise not mentioned in the description. Lps that have been fully sound-tested will say so here or in the condition description above. Vintage sealed items have obviously not been sound tested and carry no warranty. In general I recommend cleaning all lps before playback, as most have not been machine cleaned.
NM+ usually means the lp looks brand new or was sealed and was recently opened (I rarely use this grade).
NM usually means that the lp has no significant marks and plays with little or no noise.
NM- will have some sleeve residue, minor surface wear, surface noise, and/or minor scuffs.
NM/NM- means the lp looks NM but plays NM- with some light surface noise on spot-testing.
E will show light wear or light surface marks and will have some surface noise.
VG will have heavier wear and marks and play with considerable surface noise.
Jackets - I try to mention significant damage like seam splits, writing and corner creases, but most jackets will show some minor signs of age or shelf wear, even jackets rated NM. NM+ jackets are usually new or in original plastic.
Items are sold AS-IS with no returns/refunds, though significant mistakes by the seller will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please take this into consideration when buying inexpensive items under $11 or items that are graded below NM. I have established a reputation, especially in the quality-conscious classical record community, as a seller with fair prices, excellent packaging, super-fast shipping, and often better-than-stated condition. Please view my thousands of feedbacks and tens of thousands of sales and feel confident that I am not trying to cheat anyone by using an as-is policy. The high cost of international shipping, differing equipment & standards, and the fact that the lps are not fully sound certified are the biggest reasons for my no return policy.
AFTER YOUR PURCHASE OR AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS:
If you are in CANADA, please wait for my invoice as your shipping rates will be lower than the overseas international shipping rates that will automatically appear if you try to pay instantly.
MULTIPLE ITEMS - Please wait for my invoice or feel free to request a combined invoice. If you buy multiple items please combine them into one payment or wait for my invoice - separate payments cost me more in transaction fees.
Thanks for finding my store and checking out my items – I am sure you will enjoy them!
