The boxset got slightly damaged during shipping. The top part of the box got pinched, and the top is now wrinkled/creased - no tears (shown in pictures 7-9).

The 7" sleeves look OK, but the edges are a little bent as shown in the pictures 3-5. And because of the extra space from the crease they are able to shift a little despite the shrink wrap.

The "box" seems to be about the same thickness/heaviness of a standard LP jacket and the 7" sleeves look like standard printed inner sleeves - basically just paper. The box is not very sturdy at all. But now that I know how flimsy the boxset I will take extra care to package it correctly so it won't gain any more damage.

The source material for these tracks was originally recorded by the Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 space probes. Audible frequencies such as those made by musical instruments are caused by the compression of air or other gases and cannot propagate in a vacuum such as space. The "songs" recorded by the Voyager probes aren't sounds in the conventional sense, rather, they're produced from electromagnetic radiation fluctuations in the magnetosphere of the celestial bodies studied by the Voyager probes.
