CONDITION DETAILS LIMITED EDITION Recorded live February 24th-26th 1975 from Studio Direct to the Master Disc. Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded); there are some very-light surface scratches that may give a slight crackle here and there. GATE-FOLD cover looks great; no scuffing (front/back/inner-gate); short/light creases along some of the edges. Spine is easy-to-read, with mild-wear. Very-little shelf-wear along the top and bottom-edge. Opening is crisp with signs of light-use and a short tear near the top (visible at the right-side of the inner-gate. (Not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD I've Got the Music In Me, by Thelma Houston featuring Pressure Cooker, was recorded live to master disc and was released by Sheffield Lab. Featuring the vocals of Thelma Houston and session players including Larry Knechtel, Lincoln Mayorga, Larry Carlton, Jim Gordon, Tom Scott, Michael Omartian and others. An interesting, if uneven, release. Thelma Houston teamed with the band Pressure Cooker in the mid-'70s, doing a fusion/instrumental pop/R&B/soul work for Sheffield Lab. That affiliation ensured that it would be brilliantly engineered, and it sounded spectacular, especially for a mid-'70s release. (allmusic.com)
