original first two LPs ideal starters for new collector?
As you can see the covers have wear, tear, writing etc. Both LPs are in a condition that I have seen described as anything from FAIR to VG. They both have many marks, mostly surface. As is typical with mono LPs of this era they actually play better than they look. Both have some crackle, mostly in between tracks. Both have some clicks here and there. However, both have plenty of good reproduction still in them. I played both right through and there was only one place that skipped a little, near beginning of first track of first album.
There you go, this is not for you if you are expecting pristine examples of these rare records, but bid with confidence if you want playable originals of these historic LPs as described above.
They will sound best of all on a period mono player.
