Bill Black's Combo (Memphis TN) Hi Records 2036 7" 45 "YOGI" and "Ole Buttermilk Sky" (instrumentals) w/ Picture Sleeve***** In 1954 Sam Phillips invited Bill Black to play Upright "slap" Bass for Elvis Presley's early recordings at Sun Records in Memphis. Scotty Martin joined him and they would later become The Blue Moon Boys! Black was a historical PIONEER of Rock n Roll and backed up Elvis thru 1958, in the studio and Tours* You will hear Bill on Elvis '54 "That's All Right" (Music changer!), and other Sun Hits like "Hound Dog" and "Jailhouse Rock" when Black revolutionized Rock, by switching to Electric Bass! After leaving the Sun Label and Elvis ($), Black formed The Bill Black Combo and recorded and Toured thru 1965......See condition above* (very few picture sleeves to be found).....Thank's for stoppin' by VintagMediaArts!
