There is a NM+ grade for inspection visually of the record with  the sound being NM+ in between songs and  NM+/MINT while songs are in play.   CLEAN/WELL KEPT.
I have a lot of records...........! --Please feel free to ask about any I might have in stock, I'm willing to delve into my PRIVATE_PRIVATE collection and find a gem to do a BUY IT NOW with.. I like every kinda music so START A RECORD COLLECTION BECAUSE OF ME AND THE ENDLESS PIT OF RECORDS :-)

VINYL GRADING

MINT.

NM :  Near-Mint. Pretty much like a new LP but it isn't sealed and has no more than one or two minor flaws.

EXCELLENT+ : More than one or two small flaws on the vinyl but has slight signs of static, closer to NM sound when being played.

VG++ : Very Good ++. Looks relatively flawless, with only superficial signs of use. 

VG+ : Very Good +.  May exhibit minor surface marks with some mild surface noise. 

VG : Very Good.  May have numerous light scratches or marks that will affect music quality some, but quite readily playable.

G : Good.  Heavier Wear, usually from improper storage, This record will have some noise due to its markings, but could be worthwhile buy for sentimental reasons.

MINT.    

NM : Like new.  

VG++: May have light corner wear or a sticker. 

VG+ : Rougher corners and seams may have some light splitting.  

VG : Heavy splitting or wear.

G : Rougher overall look with heavier splitting.
