Extremely rare WWA/Vertigo crossover of Black Sabbath Vol. 4. When Black Sabbath changed their record label from Vertigo to WWA they literally stopped mid-press and switched over using what was left of the Vertigo stock and relabelling it with WWA sticker on the sleeve and/or putting a WWA label on the Vertigo vinyl....which is the case here. The very sought after second pressing of the Vertigo Vol. 4 sleeve with the time lengths listed beside the track listings and De Luxe on the back cover instead of VO PRICE CODE...under the track listing on the inside sleeve under 'Company of Los Angeles' it looks like something has been covered with marker but it is actually on all the second pressing sleeves and was printed like that. The Vertigo catalogue number 6360 071 is covered by a small WWA sticker with the WWA 009 catalogue number. The record is also a second pressing Vertigo vinyl with the machine stamped Vertigo matrices 6360071 1Y//2v420 and 6360071 2Y//2v420 with a very light line through them and a lightly etched WWA 009 beside it. This record is extremely rare! Don't miss a chance to own something that may never come up again!
The sleeve is in VG condition with some light marks and light wear. The vinyl is in Excellent condition with no scratches and the faintest sleeve retraction marks which cannot be seen unless holding it to a strong light. Will ship it with a poly inner sleeve as well as the polylined paper sleeve it came with.
