OUR GRADING SCALE:

ALL ITEMS VISUALLY GRADED (unless noted). We have many items and do not have the time to listen to each one individually for sound quality or skips, however we will do our best to grade honestly and conservatively (this grading scale also applies to other types of items we sell). We use “-” and “+” for additional accuracy...

SS (STILL SEALED)

The record or CD will be in perfect condition, as it has never been opened. Packaging is sealed, however there may be minor wear and tear due to storage.

NM (NEAR MINT)

Vinyl will have its original gloss and appear virtually flawless, but not perfect. CDs will be in like new condition with just a few minor marks. Only small signs of wear will be noticeable with the packaging. This grading also applies to records and CDs that are opened, but look unplayed.

EX (EXCELLENT)

More distinguished and frequent marks will be found, but vinyl and CD surfaces will be clean overall. Vinyl will still have good luster. Minor ring wear to the record sleeve or light creases to CD inserts may be present, as well as mild surface and edge wear. There may be the occasional sticker residue or pen markings to the labels. Still a nice copy for the serious collector.

VG (VERY GOOD)

Vinyl will appear well played with light scuffs and scratches. CDs will have multiple light marks, and maybe a few heavier ones. Packaging will have light surface and edge wear, and sometimes creasing. Sticker residue and pen markings are more common. Record sleeves may have more pronounced ring wear and light seam splitting. A good play copy, but probably the lowest grading that a serious collector would consider.

G (GOOD)

A bit rough overall, and not recommended if condition is a priority. Records and CDs will have many visible marks, both large and small, and there may be the occasional skip. All combinations of surface wear and tear, creasing, edge wear, sticker residue and pen markings can be prominent with the packaging. Records and CDs listed in this condition are either very rare or part of larger bundle packages.

F (FAIR)

A record or CD in fair condition will have a large amount of heavy marks and may sometimes skip or be unplayable. Sleeves and inserts will usually be heavily worn or damaged. Absolutely not recommended if condition is a priority, unless looking for packaging or a filler copy for your collection. Only items that are extremely rare or bonus incentives for bundle packages will be listed in this condition.
