Recorded in the early 1940s. Although some disks of this type are played from inside out, all these are marked to be played from the outside in. These were owned by Don Townsend who had been a DJ at a radio station in Central New York (Ithaca?). Mr. Townsend had been a personal friend of my father and that's how these came into our possession. These all have a sleeve, but some may be in sleeves the size for a 45RPM. Some of the labels have some loss. Some of the records have a white discoloration on them. Condition is AS IS. Play at 78 RPM.
Recordings are:
Theme Shep Fields (2 sides) - 05-11-41 Theme Nighty-Night Alvino Rey's Orch. - 05-30-41 Theme Memories Of You Sonny Dunham - 05-29-41 Theme Gray Gordon - 05-11-41 Theme That's What I Like About The South Phil Harris Orch. - 05-25-41 Theme Walkin By The River Little Jack Little - 05-31-41 Theme Geechy Joe Cab Calloway - 05-30-41 Theme Monlight Sonata Bobby Day's Orch - 05-29-41 Theme When Cootie Left The Duke Raymond Scott - 05-29-41 Presumably blank disc (red written label)
