Heart       "Magazine"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Mushroom MRS-5008  from 1977.      This is the 1st pressing with different songs and different mixes.    Side two features the live 'Blues Medley' with  "Mother Earth" and a cover of Led Zeppelin's "You Shook Me Babe".      'Blues Medley' and 'I've Got The Music In Me' were recorded live at The Aquarius in Seattle, Washington.

At the bottom of the back cover is says "Mushroom Records regrets that a contractual dispute has made it necessary to complete this record without the cooperation or endorsement of the group Heart, who have expressly disclaimed artistic involvement in completing this record.   We did not feel that a contractual dispute should prevent the public from hearing and enjoying these incredible tunes and recordings."

The songs are : Heartless, Without You, Just Like Wine, Magazine, Devil Delight, Blues Medley, and I've Got The Music In Me.    

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ /  Record is M

The cover is VG+ with no writing and no seam splits.   There is very light ring wear and a punch hole at top right.       The vinyl looks mint and it plays mint.    The labels are clean with no spindle marks.  The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve with the punch hole in it too.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 5 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas winners will get shipping by First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.     I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      If you do win more than one record, please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
