The Network have given their debut LP the wax treatment once again. This is the astonishingly amazing debut full-length from this exceedingly mysterious group (GREEN DAY!). The Network presents an electronic, post-punk experience in sound and fury, with strong robotic and mechanical overtones. Their new-wave futuristic chaos gives nods to the likes of Adam & The Ants, Devo, Public Image LTD., and Peter Murphy. With monikers like The Snoo, Fink, and Van Gogh, The Network has formed an anomalous synthesis of pop and sarcastic social commentary. This is a record you cannot afford to miss. Actually....The Network is a 5-piece New Wave/Synth Punk band from California. The band consists of all three members of Green Day and two of their touring musicians. Their stage names are Fink (Billie Joe Armstrong), The Snoo (Tre Cool), Van Gough (Mike Dirnt), Captain Underpants, and Z. It should be noted that Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong's alter ego is Wilhelm Fink and Green Day drummer Tré Cool went by King Underpants in the band The Lookouts, but is reportedly The Snoo in The Network. These are clues as to the identities of the individual members, and it is known for certain that the members of Green Day are in The Network. After their album Money Money 2020, The Network added a new member to the band : Balducci. Billie Joe Armstrong dismisses Green Day's involvement in The Network as but a rumor, ostensibly for publicity purposes, even getting into a competitive argument with The Network. Although the style of music is different (New Wave as opposed to Green Day's pop-punk style), Armstrong's voice can be unmistakably made out on several Money Money 2020 tracks. The official Network band site claims that "Fink" put out the money for the band himself. In reality, Billie Joe Armstrong fronted the money for the band himself, and they are signed to Adeline Records, the record company he co-owns. Neither Fink/Billie Joe's or The Snoo/Tré Cool's Masks fully cover their faces, making it quite easy to discern these two members. Van Gough sings on most Network tracks in a manner similar to that of Mike Dirnt.

There are many options when it comes to shopping for vinyl records, and we want everyone to know why you 

should shop with us. 

 

PACKAGING

We try our best to secure each record that leaves our hands, to arrive in the same condition to its new owner. Each record is 

wrapped tightly in A-fluted corrugated cardboard paper, which not only is more environmentally sound than bubble wrap, 

but offers more padding and protection for your records. It helps the vinyl fit more snug in the mailer, allowing NO ROOM 

for any shifting. Which in turn, helps prevent seam splits, bends and pushes. We reuse every box that comes through our

doors and put them to good use. We personally cut 1” corner pieces from the recycled boxes to reinforce the corners on 

the outside of the record mailers. This is to assist in the protection of your vinyl in transit, as we know USPS isn’t widely 

known for handling so delicately at all times. We ship records that are in open and resealable poly sleeves outside of the jacket

 to prevent seam splits. If you purchase a sealed copy and would like us to open, and ship outside of the jacket, we will place

it in an open poly sleeve upon request.  Please read some of our positive feedbacks on packaging to confirm our methods accuracy. 

We find our customers happy with the care that is considered when wrapping their records, and they keep coming back for more! 

SHIPPING

Our shipping is a flat rate $4.00/ media mail per 1 or 2xLP. Most 3LP and boxsets are calculated by weight and destination. 

Each additional purchased is $1. We ship in standard record mailers which are all marked “FRAGILE” and “DO NOT BEND”. 

If more than 2 LPs are purchased, we upgrade your package to a bigger box to accommodate the size and weight. If you wish 

to receive your vinyl in a more timely manner, please contact us to setup for priority. For Priority shipping, it is calculated 

by weight and destination, so prices vary. 

For international shipping, cost is calculated to destination and packages are wrapped the same way, and then double boxed. 

Depending on weight, under 4 pounds is sent USPS First Class/Priority International, over 4 pounds is USPS Priority International.

Please note that tracking via Media Mail is uploaded to your transaction. It is the buyers responsibility to track their own packages to know of their arrival time. We have had some mishaps where items have been delivered and not there. {AKA, [more than likely] stolen.} If you live somewhere, that your mail is not secure when you're not there, I suggest contacting us to be invoiced for insurance for your package. USPS media mail is NOT insured. We are not responsible for packages, once updated as delivered.
