With the addition of ex Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, Matt Johnson raises the bar on his music to a whole new level. Intense sonic textures back the most coherent of social observation to create a Rock masterpiece. I love almost all of The The's albums but this one is my favorite. Essential. The disc here is in NM condition. Sleeve is EX+ with signs of shelf wear and some small, slight creasing.
