Chicago's Plastic Crimewave Syndicate is led by Steve Krakow on guitar and vocals, creator of the beloved psychedelic magazine Galactic Zoo Dossier (published by Drag City) and former head of Plastic Crimewave Sound, who toured with Comets On Fire, Acid Mothers Temple and Oneida---and released several LPs which were acclaimed in the Wire magazine, Mojo and even by head druid Julian Cope. PCWSyndicate has opened for Loop, Hawkwind, Keiji Haino and backed Djin Aquarian of Ya Ho Wa 13, plus played with younger psych acts like Woods, Purling Hiss and Quilt---and toured the USA.
