Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; moderate scuffing and surface impressions (front/back); a few small surface abrasions near bottom on front. Inner-sleeve is original (lyrics/credits). Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
ABOUT THE RECORD Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire, by Bonnie Tyler, peaked at No. 24 on the UK album chart and No. 106 in the US, though the album gained success in continental Europe. It produced four singles: Holding Out For a Hero (No. 34 US Billboard Hot 100), If You Were a Woman (And I Was a Man) (No. 77 US Billboard Hot 100), Loving You's a Dirty Job but Somebody's Gotta Do It, and Band of Gold (No. 6 US Billboard Hot Dance Singles). Like its predecessor, Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire is produced by Jim Steinman and it features four of his songs. Among them are Ravishing, the duet Loving You's a Dirty Job but Somebody's Gotta Do It (with Todd Rundgren) and the hit Holding Out for a Hero, which was previously included on the soundtrack of the movie Footloose. Although this album was released after The Wrestling Album, an instrumental version of Ravishing was used as the theme song to the 1985-1987 CBS Saturday morning animated series, Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling and served as wrestler Hulk Hogan's entrance music during late 1985.
