Shipping weight: approx. 675g. Shipping costs: Economy airmail shipping SAL (surface/air), delivery estimated at 2-3 weeks - $11.90; International airmail "small packet" (available for packages up to 2 kg), delivery estimated at 5-8 days - $17.30; International EMS (express mail service), delivery estimated within 2-4 days - $23.60 (USA), $26.00 (Europe).
Selling Notes: A) Shipping costs include registered shipping with online tracking (approximately 4 dollars). B) Unfortunately, economy SAL shipping may not be sent with registered tracking to these countries: Australia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Norway, Poland. I encourage customers from these countries to choose the standard shipping/airmail option so that I can add tracking. C) Above the 2kg threshold, when the ?small packet? designation no longer applies, there is a substantial increase in shipping prices for SAL and airmail shipping. In fact, above 2kg, airmail shipping with tracking is actually listed at higher prices than EMS so is not worth considering. SAL shipping costs are quite close to the EMS rates as well unless the package is very heavy. D) Savings on combined shipments of multiple items varies. Generally, there will be savings if the combined weight of multiple items is less than 2kg or if the shipment is very heavy but with a handful of items combined above the 2kg range it depends on the specific weights of the individual items. Often, multiple shipments under 2kg can be cheaper than one large shipment above that weight. E) Shipping costs are calculated for USA and Europe. Costs to Asian countries are generally less expensive and costs to South American countries are more expensive and will have to be calculated after the auction. F) There may be no SAL shipping to some Asian countries - this option will turn into surface mail instead. Often for shipping within Asia the registered airmail costs are very close to EMS costs making the choice for all practical purposes between 2-3 day EMS and 2-3 week surface mail.
Additional LP Selling Notes: A) I am based in Japan and most of my customers are in the US, Europe and Asia. Four dollar shipping to the US (and only the US) does not exist and becomes increasingly unfeasible with increased weight. So I am hoping for understanding from my US customers of this situation - after the sale please wait for an invoice with the actual shipping costs that allows me to treat every customer throughout the world fairly and equally. B) Any item I am compelled to send for 4 dollars ?economy shipping? will be sent the absolute cheapest method possible - unregistered surface mail via slow boat (delivery estimated within 2 to 3 months). C) For some inexpensive items I may be convinced to forgo the tracking expenses of 4 dollars with a promise from the customer to assume the risk. D) My shipping materials are designed for LPs with multiple layers of cardboard, extra space at the corners and weigh about 300 grams. E) Costs on combined orders of LPs varies but since LPs usually weigh in the 250g to 450g range and the costs of registered tracking and the weight of shipping materials are only incurred once I can estimate that additional LPs usually cost an extra 3 to 5 dollars for SAL shipping and an extra 4 to 6 dollars for airmail shipping.
