THE MANDRAKE MEMORIAL LP PUZZLE POPPY RECORDS PYS-40006.  Original United States first pressing of this great and hard to find Psych record album, released in 1970. This has the gatefold cover plus the rare round original insert with the spindle hole, so you can watch the psychedelic artwork side spin around on your turntable. This is also a true First Pressing, with the machined numbers in the dead wax ending in 1S on both sides. (Deadwax: Z4RS-6935--1S ). Side 1: Earthfriend Prelude, Earthfriend, Just a Blur (version 1), Hiding, Just a blur (version 2), Tadpole, Kyrie, Ocean's Daughter. Side 2- Volcano Prelude, Volcano, Whisper Play, Bucket of Air, Children's Prayer, Puzzle, Just a Blur (version 3). Record in excellent condition with minimal scuffs (3-4), one small scratch on side 2. Sleeve has minimal ringwear and three tears along middle circle. 2 slits along the bottom side. Album cover vg+, small numbers in blue in on front side, scuff mark on back, and some wear and tear along the inseam. Awesome addition to classic vinyl collectors!
