CONDITION DETAILS Vinyl plays nicely (play-tested), occasional light-crackles. Gate-fold cover looks great; light-scuffing (front/back), slight-discoloration in top-right and small blemish in bottom-left on front. Inner-gate has no issues. Inner sleeve is original (plastic). Black RCA/Victor label (unsure of the exact pressing year). Spine is easy-to-read, with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top-edge, slightly more noticeable wear along bottom-edge, some wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use. (Not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD The Sound of Music is the soundtrack for the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, based on the memoir of Maria von Trapp, The Story of the Trapp Family Singers. Many songs from the musical have become standards, such as Edelweiss, My Favorite Things, Climb Ev'ry Mountain, Do-Re-Mi, and the title song. This is the soundtrack album of the 1965 film adaptation starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer.
