Martha
& the Vandellas
I’m
Ready for Love
Original
1966 French EP
This is the very highly prized original 1966 monaural EP
I’m Ready for Love by Martha and the Vandellas,
released in France on the Tamla Motown label by Pathé Marconi.
It features the iconic hit single I’m Ready for Love, plus
three other songs: He Doesn’t Love Her Anymore,
What Am I Going to Do Without Your Love,
and Go Ahead and Laugh.
The laminated color picture sleeve has a great portrait of lead singer
Martha Reeves flanked by Rosalind Ashford and Betty Kelley.
The picture sleeve is in clean, crisp true VG+ condition, with
some ringwear and slight darkening that is mostly
apparent on the back of the sleeve (please see photo 2 above).
The record itself is a nice VG+ and all the songs play through
beautifully. The original mono is a joy to hear.
The photos above are of the actual item on offer,
Terrific item and a true treasure for Martha Reeves fans and Motown collectors.
No reserve.
