Solti's land mark studio recording of the entire Ring Cycle with the Vienna Philharmonic and an all star cast including Birgit Nilsson as Brünnhilde. This was the first voyage into stereo recording for the opera world and its importance cannot be overstated. The vinyl is in perfect condition and the original presentation box is very slightly scuffed. It comprises all four parts of the Ring Cycle plus an introduction to the work as a whole, presentation of Leit Motifs and a full libretto for each part. A true collectors item to be enjoyed and cherished. £15.00 has been added to the list price of this item due to the postage cost being so high and Ebay not allowing the correct postage price to be shown. The extra £15.00 is purely to go towards the postage costs.
