Limited edition Record Store Day 2014 Green picture sleeve, Green 7" Vinyl 45 reissue of The Stranglers' 1977 single Peaches.
"Peaches" by The Stranglers was one of the big summer hits of 1977 in the UK, a close rival to The Sex Pistols' "God Save The Queen" in terms of notoriety because of its explicit sexual references. The single was a double A-side with pub rock song "Go Buddy Go" which was played on UK radio at the time and also on the band's BBC TV Top of the Pops appearance because the sexual nature of the lyrics of "Peaches" caused the BBC to ban it. It reached #8 in the UK singles chart and the radio cut had to be rerecorded with less explicit lyrics.
Brand new and shrinkwrapped.
