Up for auction is a Factory Sealed The Jimi Hendrix Experience "Are You Experienced" Stereo RS-6261 pressing. This could possibly be the Tri-Color Steamboat label but I cannot be sure. While I cannot guarantee which pressing it is I can say it is either the 1967 Tri Color Steamboat label or the two tone 1970 pressing. This record came from a one owner collection of someone who worked for a radio station in the 60's-70's. Most of his collection was WLP or 1st pressings. This particular record is absolutely beautiful. It is the heavy cardboard matte paste over style of cover with the proper 2 breath holes on the front side of the shrink. 242 grams weight. Again a beautiful record for sure. There is one 3/4" split in the shrink on the side that the record is housed. Extremely minor aging at corners. No warping. Extremely mild tanning in small spots of back cover. I will cover the cost of insurance and will carefully pack and ship this LP between 5 12"x12" pads in a heavy duty record mailer. Don't miss out.
