CONDITION DETAILS Vinyl plays with occasional crackles; WARP causes skips during the first song on both sides (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing, areas where gloss has been removed, and surface impressions (front/back); tiny surface abrasion near top-center on front; "FACTORY SEALED FOR YOUR PROTECTION" sticker near top-right on back. Inner-sleeve is original (photos/credits); seams partially split. Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear; developing split near center. Some shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; developing split near center of bottom-edge. Some wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD Toto IV, by American rock band Toto, marked the band's career zenith. The lead single, Rosanna, peaked at No. 2 for five weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, while the album's third single, Africa, topped the Hot 100 charts as well, became the group's first No. 1 hit. The fourth single, I Won't Hold You Back, also peaked within the top ten on the Hot 100 and topped the Adult Contemporary charts for three weeks. Philip Garris' original emblem from the Toto album was updated to show four rings since this was their fourth album. The newer looking, well-polished ring around the hilt of the sword represented their latest work. Each successive ring showed a little more wear and a few more chips which represented the band's previous records. Toto IV received six Grammy Awards in 1983 including Album of the Year. It reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 album charts in the USA, shortly after its release. It also reached top ten positions in several other countries.
