My copy of Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables is in nearly mint condition as are a few of my original punk albums that I am selling this week.
This is also the first issue of this album (released in 1980)as the picture of the band on the rear sleeve shows them still with their heads on!,later copies had the heads removed after an injunction was brought as the Dead Kennedy’s didn’t get permission to use the photo.
The sleeve is also in great condition,a bit of fading on the rear on one edge but that’s about all.
The inner is the original that gives the latest releases from Cherry Red and other details of different independent labels marketed by Cherry Red,not often you can say that the inner sleeve is an interesting piece on it’s own!.
I also have the large poster that came with it which is also in perfect condition,it was never stuck up on the wall!.
You will be very lucky to find a copy of this seminal album in better condition anywhere.
