Web - I Spider

VERY RARE ORIGINAL UK GATEFOLD LP ON POLYDOR 2383 024 FROM 1970 STEREO

For their third album, 1970's I Spider, The Web (now simply called Web) brought in Dave Lawson on keyboards, mellotron and vocals, prompting a major shift in the band's sound, away from psychedelia and towards a more progressive rock approach. I Spider was also, unfortunately, the band's last album to feature the stellar sax playing of Tom Harris whose departure prompted yet another change in the band's name. For their next album Web would be known as Samurai, under which name they released one brilliant album in 1971, before finally disbanding when Lawson left to join Greenslade soon after.

Grading cover/vinyl

LPS are graded visually and conservatively.

M- Near New

EX+ very clean but not M-

EX(+) Just Slightly off from EX+ but better than EX

EX Though not mint still quite nice cover could have a creased corner or very light. Vinyl visually clean something held back the ex+ grade could be extreme light?

EX(-) At least a visual mark on the vinyl but light in nature and should play ok.

EX- Seam splits, ring-wear, cover wear, small sticker tears etc can come into play. Maybe visual marks (eg scuffs, hairline scratches) there may be some light back?

VG+ More wear on covers and more wear on LPs(multiple marks) Most likely surface scratches. The LP should be able to play without skipping and repeating.

Shipping and Handling

All LPS come packed between layers of corrugated cardboard, plus LP'S are housed separate from sleeves. The LP is removed from cover (except sealed LPs) for shipping to prevent damage.
