This is THE RAREST of all collectible jazz/blues 78rpm record sleeves and is missing from all but the most prestigious collections. This sleeve is King of any collection.
Black Swan records was founded in 1921 by Pace Phonographic Corp and headquartered in Harlem. It was only in business between 1921 - 1923 during which time it made 180 records. It was the FIRST black-owned recording company whose records were made entirely by african american craftsmen and musicians. It is from my personal collection which I am liquidating simply due to my age. It displays VERY WELL and was framed containing a company record and hung prominently in a smoke free home. The quality of this sleeve is MUCH better then most [almost century-old] sleeves with only small nicks along the edges but no disfiguring tears, stains or sun bleaching!
