Condition (Disc): VISUAL/AUDIO GOOD / VERY GOOD   

This pressing has undistorted audio, with clear sound. There is certainly no dominant interference and nothing obtrusive in the playback. 

This disc plays without any loud clicks,skips or jumps.There are a lot of non feelable marks on both sides which do cause some light crackle in quieter parts of the playback.

This record has had a lot of use but still plays remarkable well.

Both labels are in VERY GOOD condition without any unwanted writing or stains but with lots of spindle trails on either side.

The KT tax code is present on the side 2 label.

Sleeves are in VERY GOOD minus/ VERY GOOD minus CONDITION. 

The Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd fully laminated outer gatefold sleeve is in VERY GOOD minus condition and is free from any writing, tears, or seam splits but with quite a few laminate creases with frayed opening and bumped corners.

The correct red and white fools inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD minus condition without any writing or tears but does suffer from seam splits and is slightly creased.

The spine is scuffed and unreadable.

Also comes complete with the sgt pepper cut out sheet but does have two pieces missing.

Comments: overall an acceptable UK 1st PRESS MONO LP collectors Item. 

I USE THE RECORD COLLECTOR'S GRADING SYSTEM:

 

Unless buying a vinyl record that is SEALED, or in MINT condition,there is always likely to be some type of surface sounds, or background noise, known as pops and crackling.

If the LP has been played a couple of times, it can never be perfect. This is especially noticeable in quiet passages.

 

RECORD GRADE'S

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

NM: The record appears virtually flawless. If there is a flaw, it should be very hard to see. Very minor scuffs and very little else can appear on the vinyl. It should play clean with a crisp audio throughout, without any noise over the flaw. 

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 

Very good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

 

Please note there may be a difference between grading with a PLUS OR MINUS this means that there is a slight upgrade/downgrade.
