In the 1970's, I became a college radio station manager and I "acquired" many titles titles that the radio station wanted to dump due to lack of room.  Then, I got the audiophile bug in the mid 1970's and collected recordings recommended by The Absolute Sound, Stereophile, Sounds Like.. and other recommendations by manufacturers such as Acoustic Research, Audio Research, Apt Holman, and Allison to name a few.  In the 1980's I worked in the music biz for a mail-order music company, an audiophile record distributor and a recording label (as a "Record Executive" and recording engineer).

These days, I take my recording equipment to venues to record relatively unknown artists for a not-for-profit recording company I founded in the 1990's.

Thus, I've been collecting music for over 60 years. I got a lotta music I will never listen to.  Most of the used LPs I own have been played only once or twice.  I listen to FM radio quite extensively so I haven't had time to play recordings over and over again.

My wife has been very understanding with my obsession and does not harass me about LPs stored in almost every room of my 13-room house (as well as two warehouses from which I rent a small amount of space).  I'm lucky to have her.  But, she has her own ideas.  She told me that the day after I am buried, cremated, or given to science, she will call the people who deliver dumpsters to demolition sites in order for her (and my children) to dispose of every 78rpm, LP, 45rpm, , tape and CD -- PERIOD.

So, between now and the end of my abilities to listen to music, I will be selling off everything I can to those who will give my precious vinyl a good home.  But, I want to "leave" my wife with many junk recordings to dump. It will satisfy her need to "get revenge on me" after all my nonsense she has put up with for 45-years.  But I won?t care at that point in time.

If you're still reading this, I have good news for you.  If you contact me with your want-list of no more than 15 items, I promise I will look for them and try to list them in future auctions / fixed price sales on eBay. If you include some contact info, I'll let you know when I will be listing the item. But, please note that I will only do this for you if you place a bid (no matter how small) on any of the recordings I have for sale.  Fair enough?

From the date of acquisition of any LP, to the date I ship it to the buyer, I store my LPs on straight shelves with some moderate side pressure to prevent warps in my smoke-free, pet-free home, office and warehouse.  If the LP is tight shrink-wrapped sealed, loose shrink-wrapped sealed, or poly-bag sealed then it is new and unplayed. There are times when one of my new LPs will have the shrink wrap torn, especially at the opening of the jacket or at the corners.  "Stuff" happens when LPs are inserted and removed from shelves.  I always try to note every imperfection to a reasonable extent.

Good luck and happy listening.

P.S.  If I can leave you with one tip about reproducing music from vinyl it is this.   PLEASE INSPECT YOUR CARTRIDGE'S STYLUS EVERY WEEK.  IF YOU SEE SIGNS OF WEAR, ON ONE SIDE OF THE STYLUS, GET A NEW ONE AND ADJUST YOUR ANTI-SKATING BIAS ACCORDINGLY. A NEW STYLUS AND A NEW TURNTABLE BELT (IF YOU USE ONE) WILL INCREASE YOUR LISTENING PLEASURE.

Please forgive the glare in the photos.  I don't know how to eliminate it. Please read my Returns Policy.
