Here for sale is a 1998 re-issue copy of Juan De La Cruz’s acclaimed ‘70s live album Manila Concert 1973. The limited edition (only 330) record was released on the Italian Gina Records and – as advertised – is ‘an audiophile edition from original master tapes’.

 

The sleeve itself is of a high quality laminated card, its condition remaining crisp and clean without any disc-wear showing through nor any shabby corners – there is, however, a small abrasion upon the spine, so please study the photo for this imperfection.

 

Both sides of the vinyl have just been played through and sound excellent, clean, bright bass and a loud cut. All songs are clean except several small clicks on the opening song. There are also a couple of clicks between songs.
