Here we have Bill Caddick, one-time member of the Albion Band and associate of Richard Thompson, with “ROUGH MUSIC” a vinyl LP on PARK SHP 102, dating from 1976.
I’ve listed it as “Rare Folk” but at least one of his songs, “Unicorns” isn’t all that rare. It’s been covered by many of the great and the good in the folk universe (which is like the ordinary universe, but has more wood and beer in it). It’s here, in its original version, on this, Bill Caddick’s first LP.
Here’s yer track list
Donkey Jack Donkey
Poor Pig
Waiting For The Lark
Memphis Yo-Yo Blues
Narrow Lock Gates
Unicorns
King Sun
Rough Band
Oller Boller
Winter Fair
John O'Dreams
I would conservatively rate the condition of this disc as VG+++ (it plays beautifully) and reckon that the sleeve is only slightly less exquisite.
I am not a dealer.
I am just an old bloke thinning out his record collection before the floor collapses.
I’m selling many of these discs FOR LESS THAN THEY COST ME.
If you buy more than one record off me, I will REDUCE THE POSTAGE ACCORDINGLY, so the more you buy.. the cheaper they become!
The record in the photograph is the record you will get.
I have described the item to the best of my ability, and everything looks in splendid condition to me, but please check the photographs to decide for yourself.
PAYPAL only Please.
NO OVERSEAS bidders please.
And NO OVERSEAS bidders using UK addresses please.
This is because I like my buyers to be happy bunnies. If there is a problem, I like to sort it out personally.
I can't do this if you're thousands of miles away.
Thanks for looking!
