Selling-up my extensive record collection. UK first-issue copy of this legendary Hawkwind album. There are slight variations that exist - mine is exactly this one, on discogs -

Cover - Classic cover! My one is probably above average for one of these. Printed in black ink on card that has a silvery surface, meaning that the black ink wears off easily. Front of this copy has some ring-wear, partially wearing off the black ink in a circle. Back also moulded to the shape of the record, also moulded to the shape of the internal flip-backs. Some loss to the black ink, in a circle. Light wear to edges, spine is good, wear to corners. Refer back to my pictures - not great but still pretty good - not split, torn or written-on. Custom picture inner is present, in good condition, but with a small tear, and another tiny one, at the opening.

Record - Side one shows various light scuffs and marks (which I would not expect to be audible), and a finger-nail impact at the end of the side. Side 2 has a tiny speck (that won't come off) on track one. This record generally looks like it's been played a lot, so I thought I'd play-test side one. It played very well indeed - no scratchy sounds, except on the short quiet last track "One Change". Track 2 is semi-acoustic, and would show-up damage, but it plays just fine. I also played  side 2, which was also excellent - played it loud, which is the best way... General quality of the audio is excellent, this is not worn-out at all, and as noted, not scratchy to listen to.

I have been collecting records for 50 years (when finances allowed!), and now it's time to sell-up. I bought them mostly around local shops (second-hand), but sometimes from e-bay, and sometimes new, for my favourite bands.

When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad.

Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.

They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices. Combined postage may or may not be possible through the Program - if e-bay shows combined postage for their courier job, I'll do combined postage for the transit inside UK. I can't see information about this until you pay.

International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.
