MINT -Sealed, Unopened and Unplayed. Brand New. Collectible  NM (Near Mint) - Opened and appears unplayed (common sense dictates all opened are played once) . Like New. Collectible EX (Excellent) Like New but has some nearly unnoticeable defect. Has been played but well preserved. Collectible until you can find NM to MINT. VG + (Very Very Good) This is for the listener who is buying for the love of the music. Has very little "dirt" and very few "pops".  VG (Very Good) Again this is for the listener who is buying for the love of the music. Has a little "dirt" and a several "pops". G (Playable but dirt and pops are distracting - may skip on some players)  These are mainly for the covers in case you have a great vinyl and "Marsha" wrote her name on the cover. (I like the name Marsha just not written on a LP cover)
COVER CONDITIONS are evident by pictures so look at pictures of covers carefully. If there is plastic wrap on the cover (even though it's been opened) this has preserved the cover and increases the value. SLEEVE CONDITIONS are also evident by pictures and can be the most collectible part of the LP.
MATRIX Go to discogs.com for more info. I will include MATRIX info if something is highly collectible or unusual. If a LP is not listed on discogs IT MAY BE EXTREMELY VALUABLE. If a LP's MATRIX not listed on discogs IT MAY BE EXTREMELY VALUABLE.
