vg = very good:  very slight surface traces. No or only minimal background noises / very slight surfacemarks. No or just minimal sidenoise.

g = good:  slight scratches or Signs of wear, slight background noises may occur, but can still be played well + can be enjoyed satisfactorily without major restrictions. / Slight marks, slight sizzling noise, anyway - music is satisfying enjoyable.

w = worn:   often played, scratches or streaks are present and very clearly audible. / Played often. Marks are audio-visual.
