CONDITION DETAILS Black and White labels with PROMO text. Double LP. Vinyl plays nicely (play-tested). Gate-fold cover looks great; light-scuffing, tiny surface abrasions, and surface impressions (front/back/inner-gate). Inner-sleeves are original (plastic). Spine is mostly easy-to-read with some wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge with divots along bottom; some wear to corners. Openings are crisp with signs of some use. (Not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD The Funky Headhunter, by MC Hammer, was hailed as Hammer's comeback album. As with some earlier songs such as Crime Story (from the album Please Hammer, Don't Hurt 'Em), the content and reality about "street life" remained somewhat the same, but the sound was different, resulting in Hammer losing favor with fans. Nonetheless, this harder-edged, more aggressive record went platinum, but failed to win him a new audience among hardcore hip-hop fans.
