This is an ORIGINAL 1972 STEREO PRESSING OF THE 1972 ATCO RECORDS U.S. LP titled 'Gumbo', containing eleven tracks from Louisiana bayou funk / blues legend Dr. John (AKA Mac Rebennack).  It is Atco Records U.S. catalog number SD 7006, with original explanatory insert, yellow Atco labels, heavy cardboard gatefold cover.    Record comes packaged inside the gatefold cover in its original Atlantic / Atco Records family stock inner sleeve with pictures of other then-current Atlantic / Atco Records family LP releases.
Fifth album by New Orleans R&B artist Dr. John, a tribute to the music of his native city. The album is a collection of covers of New Orleans classics, played by a major figure in the city's music.
