Ltd Edition Coloured Double VINYL LP
By 1977, AC/DC were snapping at the heels of international fame. Despite being enormously popular on their home turf, and to a lesser extent in the UK and Europe, their 1976 album Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap was not even released in America. The show featured here, recorded live at the Hobart City Hall in Tasmania on 7th January 1977 and broadcast across local FM radio, captures AC/DC just two months before the release of the much loved "Let There Be Rock" album, during a transitional period for the band. Featuring, for probably the first time, AC/DC’s explosive live version of their new studio sound and format, this little known show, released here on vinyl for the first time, is a legendary gig for the band, illustrating how their style had changed so dramatically in a matter of months.
