Les Hobeaux Skiffle Group took over from the Vipers as resident group at the 2 I's in 1957. Recorded three singles and one EP for HMV in 1957 The band disbanded in 1958 with Les Bennetts (guitar) and Red Reece (Drums) joining Chas McDevitt's Group. Eventually Les joined Lonnie Donegan's group.
