This 78 has been cleaned on our Pro-Ject VC-S cleaning machine and played through once on each side on a record player with a sapphire tip stylus
Original UK 10" Shellac 78rpm single, circa 1933. New plain card sleeve. Cat number Brunswick 01659
Unfortunately there is a large chip on the rim of this record. Fortunately it does not go into the playing surface on either side so it can be played by carefully placing the stylus on the run-in groove between the chip and the start of the song - This damage is reflected in the asking price.
Both playing surfaces are clean, with lots of light hairline scuffs. It plays very well with some background crackle, an occasional light click, and normal shellac surface noise (see pictures)
Yeah, man! / Can you take it
All of our shellac 78rpm records are sent well packed - sandwiched in hardboard, bubble wrapped and boxed for the ultimate protection to ensure they arrive with you in one piece
