This is an absolutely super cool album with original album sleeve. It was designed by Robert Crumb who was the designer of the Keep On Truckin' Guy and things like Fritz the Cat. The album reads "Good Tone Records, the New 78 RPM Record, Plays with any 33-1/3 Needle, Music Self-Played is Happiness Self-Made".
It has the distinct style design of the Robert Crumbs characters. The back of the sleeve reads "Good Tone Records are made by the Natural Trading Co., c/o the Cherokee Bookshop, 6607 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, Calif., 90028".
The record measures 9-7/8" diameter. The A side is "Ducks Yas Yas" by the Good Tone Banjo Boys with vocal duet by Dan Wheetman and R. Crumb. Copyright 1972. The B side is "Beautiful Missouri Waltz" by Armstrong's Pasadenians with Musical Saw by R. E. Armstrong.
The record is in excellent condition. The sleeve is also excellent with a very small tear on the top edge but displays great. It would be very interesting to hear this especially since R. Crumb actually sings on it. This is one that you do not see often. I'm sure it was a very small production run.
