This 78 has been cleaned on our Pro-Ject VC-S cleaning machine and played through once on each side on a record player with a sapphire tip stylus

Original UK issue 10" Shellac 78rpm single. Company sleeve. Cat number Columbia DC414

Both sides of this shellac 78 are clean and shiny

There is a light scratch across the A-side (La Mer) playing surface, which causes some light clicks during playback (not on every revolution) in addition to light background crackle/normal shellac surface noise (See pictures)

The B-side (De la fenetre d'en haut) has suffered from groovewear, which distorts the song quite a lot in places. The asking price reflects this.

La mer / De la fenetre d'en haut

All of our shellac 78rpm records are sent well packed - sandwiched in hardboard, bubble wrapped and boxed for the ultimate protection to ensure they arrive with you in one piece
