Here's an iconic LP by NEIL YOUNG & CRAZY HORSE, EVERYBODY KNOWS THIS IS NOWHERE on REPRISE RECORDS from 1969. It's on the 1969 PRESSED STEAMBOAT LABEL, and if there ever was an LP that was just played to death, this would be high on the list. It's very hard to find pristine copies of this record. A quick look at the song list tells us why, as more than half of the songs on this LP could be in a greatest hits collection of his. The LP is effortlessly beautiful, and helped point Neil to a future without CS&N., as he started on the road to one of the greatest music careers in Rock.
This is a beautiful 1969 Steamboat label PRESSING that's NEAR MINT COPY. It looks and feels unplayed, like something dug out of a pristine time capsule. When I took the photo of the gatefold, it struggled to open, and creeped like it was the first time. Amazing. Never see one like this again...
