Here's a 1979 PRESSING of LED ZEPPELIN'S IN THROUGH THE OUT DOOR on their SWAN SONG LABEL.   SS 16002 - These OG ZEP LPs are very hard to find in great condition like this.  A top copy.  The ORIGINAL INNER was designed to be used as a watercoloring projects.  Just brush with water, and colors come to life.  In Through The Out Door was Zep's 8th and last studio Album.  It was recorded over a few weeks in Sweden where Page and Bonham were suffering from heroin and alcoholism issues respectively.  Because of that, Plant and Jones took control.  The resulting LP is more front loaded with keys than guitar, something the LP had been criticized for.  Buteven without total band cohesion, they were still great.  They were the biggest rock band in the world at the time, and the appetite for new music from them was huge.  The LP hit #1 on the charts within 2 weeks, and Page was already planning a more guitar driven follow up to this one.  However, the future was thwarted for Zeppelin when Bonham died in 1980 as a result of his continued alcohol abuse.  The band would  break up, and shortly release CODA which included a few tracks from these recording sessions along with others.
The original album had an outer sleeve which was made to look like a plain brown paper bag. Each cover showed an alternate angle of a man in a bar. The scenario has been photographed from 6 different viewpoints within the bar and then 6 different sleeve variations have been created (with the letters A - F at the top of the spine denoting each variation). The inner sleeve features a 'magic' ink in different colors which appear on the design when gently wetting.Released in brown paper bag with printed title one side and tracks to rear in a rubber stamp style.'E' sleeve variant, printed on spine.
