Die zweite Soundtrack-Arbeit (für Barbet Schroeders "La Vallée") zählt ebenso wie das 1969er "More" nicht zu den Hauptwerken der Band, ist sogar noch mehr als der erste Score hörbar "Begleitmusik". Doch als gezielte "mood music" fraglos immer noch auf sehr hohem Niveau. Und die wenigen konzisen Songs des Albums ("Childhood's End" vor allem!) weisen tatsächlich schon überraschend deutlich auf das hin, was die Band auf dem nachfolgenden Jahrhundertalbum kreieren würde – für das volle Verständnis des Gesamtwerks ist daher auch diese "Fußnote" kaum verzichtbar.
